When you share access with one or two people with Nexkey, it only takes one to three seconds so you probably haven’t noticed much of a change. When you start to share access with hundreds or thousands of people, this improvement is going to make tasks a lot easier and faster to complete.
Getting technical, we optimized our database queries and employed caching wherever we could throughout the platform. As a result, tasks like sharing keys, adding people to Groups, and onboarding a mass amount of new users happens in lightning speed.
While many customers who only share access with a few people at a time may not even realize there is a difference, our customers managing hundreds or thousands of people across multiple groups and locations will find this to be a game changer with their everyday tasks. We have seen an overall improvement of tasks becoming 5.5X faster.

Nexkey Portal is the best way to manage access for large clients that have many doors outfitted with Nexkey's access control system and a large number of users that need to access their space.
While you can grant and revoke access, remotely unlock your business, and view a detailed audit trail for who enters your space and when in the Nexkey mobile app, you can also do that and more in your browser with Nexkey Portal.
Additional features include Nexkey’s Dashboard which gives you intelligent insights into space utilization, occupancy, flow of people, and access events over time through beautiful, visual reports. You can customize the reports and data to reflect what is most important for your business.
Nexkey Portal is also a great way to set up your Groups. We recommend you use Groups to manage access to your spaces and people in your organization if you regularly share access or add users to the platform. It makes it easier to keep everyone organized in lists, and when someone leaves, you simply remove them from the Group and all access will be revoked instantly.
